Shore Capital has hired a former senior managing director from Nomura’s UK corporate broking team, whose clients over a 23-year banking career have included Tesco, ITV, AstraZeneca and Burberry.

Ed Matthews has joined Shore Capital’s corporate broking and advisory business, according to a statement from the firm.
