The £670m (€970m) Shropshire County Council pension fund has axed Deutsche Asset Management, Barclays Global Investors and State Street Global Advisors from running £160m (€231m) after the scheme conducted a review of its UK equity portfolio.

Goldman Sachs Asset Management and Majedie Asset Management have been appointed in their place, according to a statement from the scheme.
