HSBC names co-heads of corporate broking

Bank confirms the arrival of ex-Citigroup and Canaccord brokers to lead its UK team

HSBC has hired two co-heads of UK corporate broking, two months after Financial News first reported the bank was close to making its first significant appointments to the team.

Simon Alexander and Mark Dickenson will become co-heads of UK corporate broking with effect from December, according to an internal memo seen by Financial News. HSBC confirmed the contents of the memo but declined to comment further.
