Simon Davies, chief executive of Threadneedle Asset Management, has been named as the new chief executive of the UK's Investment Management Association. He replaces Lindsay Tomlinson, the vice-chairman for Europe at Barclays Global Investors.

Simon Davies confirmed as IMA chairman
