Norwegian asset manager Skagen Funds is set to open a Netherlands office after broadening its distribution in the UK to include retail investors.

Skagen, whose Kon-Tiki fund has generated the highest return over three and five years among emerging markets equity strategies, according to data provider Camradata, has appointed Michiel Krauss to become managing director in the Netherlands and is adding staff.
