Skandia management turmoil sparks shareholder protest

Skandia, the scandal-torn Swedish financial services firm, has failed to name a new permanent chief execuvitve despite shareholder pressure to inject new senior management into the troubled group. It is also struggling to find a new chairman.

Birgitta Johansson-Hedberg, who was a favourite to take over as chief executive has chosen to limit her role to that of a director.
