SLC launches long corporate bond fund

SLC Asset Management has launched a fund for UK pension funds to invest in corporate bonds with maturities of more than 15 years.

The fund, which SLC has already seeded with £25m (€43m) of its own capital, will buy into investment grade bonds (rated BBB and above). Its aim will be to outperform the Merrill Lynch Sterling all non-gilts over 15 years index.
