Richard Cummings, former head of Reuters Risk Management in the UK, has joined the UK-based sales team of SmartStream Technologies, the transaction management software supplier.

Cummings, who has 17 years' banking experience, will report to Mark Cappell, SmartStream's European sales director, and be based in its London office.
