Snow storms force Irish Stock Exchange to shut

The Irish Stock Exchange closed early on Thursday and will not open again until Monday due to the adverse weather conditions battering Europe.

The exchange, which lists more than 36,000 securities for more than 4,000 issuers, said following government warnings on safety it was "altering its trading calendar" and would close early today and remain shut all day on Friday.
