Société Générale has boosted its European M&A team with the hire of Juan Lopez Carretero from Lehman Brothers as a director in Madrid and Livio Fenati from Banca Intesa as a director in Milan.

Carretero spent 10 years at Lehman Brothers latterly as an executive director in M&A in London. He will report to Bruno Bibas, managing director of M&A in Madrid.
