SocGen names new executive committee members

Societe Generale's corporate and investment banking division has added several new members to its executive committee on the heels of a management shakeup at the end of last year. The committee is comprised of a six-member core group and an extended group that includes heads of regions, business lines and corporate departments. The CIB division's new chief executive, Didier Valet, has joined the core executive committee. Dan Fields, who was appointed head of global markets earlier this month, also joins the committee along with Christophe Leblanc, the division's new chief operating officer. Christophe Lattuada, head of strategy and corporate development, and Richard Paolantonacci, a project adviser studying the creation of a scarce resources department, are both joining the committee as well. Jean-Luc Parer, an advier to the division's management, will be leaving the committee as part of his move to the group's retail banking division. David Coxon, the division's deputy head of global finance will subsequently join the management body.
