Societe Generale poached a senior investment banker from French rival Natixis to lead its business in the US.
The French lender has hired Stephane About as chief executive of its business in the Americas, it said in a statement. His appointment follows a shake-up of the senior ranks within Societe Generale's investment banking unit after a difficult period for the bank during the pandemic.
