SoftBank hires more dealmakers from banks and private equity firms

SoftBank has hired at least 10 investment professionals in the last three months as the Japanese conglomerate continues to assemble the team responsible for deploying its enormous Vision Fund, a person close to the firm has told FN's sister publication Private Equity News.

The new recruits have joined from buyout firms, investment banks and consultancies, the person said. They will work for SoftBank Investment Advisers, the manager of the Vision Fund, in its London and California offices, where they will be responsible for sourcing investments in technology companies across the world.
