Dang Phan, a property investment veteran most recently with Credit Suisse First Boston, is joining George Soros' property and private equity investment arms.

Phan will join Soros Real Estate Partners as managing partner and chief operating officer. He will oversee the operations of Soros Real Estate Investors, a $1bn (€1.1bn) property private equity fund that targets Western Europe and Japan. Phan will be responsible for financing, tax, risk management, investor relations, reporting and general administration.
