Sixty percent of UK FTSE 350 companies have made special contributions to their pension schemes in the year to April, according to research from Mercer Human Resource Consulting and the Association of Corporate Treasurers.

The survey, based on responses from 103 companies in the FTSE 350, is the first time Mercer has studied the numbers of companies making special contributions.
