SRI investors take on additional risk

Investors who favour socially responsible investment (SRI) face additional and more complex risks than conventional investors, according to research from Commerzbank Securities.

Contrary to what is often believed, excluded industries which do not comply with SRI criteria, do not contribute much to the level of risk. The largest risk appears to be in forestry and paper, autos, steel and other metals.
