Staff return to safety of banking

Disillusioned staff at hedge funds are clamouring to move back to investment banks to take advantage of what they see as greater job security, according to headhunters.

Life in a hedge fund is supposed to bring traders freedom and incomparable wealth. However, the headhunters say there is no shortage of hedge fund staff who have struggled to weather the tough trading conditions of the past three years and who are looking for a way out.
