StanChart goes long with rare bond

Standard Chartered has taken advantage of continuing benign conditions in the global debt markets to issue a rare 25-year senior unsecured bond worth £750m.

The UK bank priced the note yesterday through Lloyds Banking Group, Barclays, UBS and its own origination and syndication desks.
