Standard Chartered opens bootcamp for Singapore's millionaires-in-waiting

The bank has become the first to launch a programme in the country aimed at educating its clients' children on their future inheritance

Standard Chartered has become the latest private bank to launch a bootcamp-style business programme for the kids of its high-net-worth clients, and the first to do so in Singapore, as its peers increase efforts to retain the large accounts of their wealthiest customers.

It is the first global bank to host this sort of programme in the world's fastest growing wealth region - Singapore has around 2.5 million high-net-worth individuals, according to Merrill Lynch and Capgemini.
