Standard Chartered has hired a Citigroup veteran to lead its global subsidiaries unit following an internal reshuffle at the emerging-markets focused bank.

Stella Choe has joined Standard Chartered as head of global subsidiaries coverage, according to a statement from the bank, a division that deals with the international banking needs of multinational corporations. She was most recently head of global networking banking at Citigroup, which is in the midst of a strategy overhaul under chief executive Jane Fraser.
