Standard Life Aberdeen disputes £109bn Lloyds withdrawal

Standard Life Aberdeen has challenged a decision by Lloyds Banking Group to pull a £109bn investment mandate from the listed UK asset manager, saying the bank does not have the right to cancel the contract.

Lloyds announced in February that it would be terminating the lucrative mandate — a move that could put a significant dent in SLA's assets under management, which stood at £655bn at the end of 2017.
