The Trades Union Congress has selected Standard Life Investments, the fund management arm of mutual life assurer Standard Life, to manage two of its five stakeholder pension funds.

Standard Life Investments will manage a UK equity fund, which it is has been mandated to manage aggressively, and an ethical fund that has screened out certain stocks.
