State of Michigan Bureau of Investments, which handles the investment activities of the US state, is to automate its equity and fixed income trading with the Financial Trading Platform from buy-side trade order management systems supplier, Macgregor.

The Bureau of Investments is responsible for the investment activities of the State of Michigan Retirement System, the general fund of the state lottery, Michigan Education Trust and various other trust funds. It has total assets under management of $51bn (€54.3bn).
