State Street Global Advisors' head of portfolio solutions warns of 'heady cocktail' of growing equity exposure mixed with downturn concern

Investors continue equity rush despite correction fears

Investors are still piling into equities despite fears that markets could fall by up to 20%, according to State Street Global Advisors, a further sign of the desperate hunt for return in the low-yield environment.

A report published on Wednesday by SSgA found that 63% of investors have increased their holdings of developed market equities over the past six months, while 48% have raised their allocation to emerging market stocks.
