Staveley’s dealings with Abu Dhabi royalty under the microscope

On the eleventh day of the trial, the bank's lawyer focused on Staveley's personal relationship with Sheikh Mansour

Barclays continued to grill Amanda Staveley’s witnesses on her business dealings on the eleventh day of the £1.5bn case against the blue-chip bank, zeroing in on her relationship with Abu Dhabi’s Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al-Nahyan.

Staveley, the chief executive of private equity firm PCP Capital Partners, is suing Barclays over concealing fees during its 2008 emergency cash call, amid the financial crisis.
