Point72 Asset Management, the family office of billionaire hedge fund founder Steven Cohen, has hired a partner in its London office as it prepares to start managing client money again.

Sebastien Mourot joined Point72 on October 10, according to a filing by the firm with the UK's Companies House. He has joined as an equities portfolio manager covering the consumer and technology, media and telecoms sectors, according to his LinkedIn profile.
