Stonehage Fleming hires ex-HSBC private bank veteran Stuart Parkinson as CEO

Parkinson, who left the bank to lead wealth firm Lombard International Group in 2020, succeeds longstanding chief Giuseppe Ciucci

Multi-family office Stonehage Fleming has picked ex-HSBC private banking veteran Stuart Parkinson to become its next chief executive officer.

Parkinson, who previously served as HSBC Private Bank’s global chief investment officer, succeeds Stonehage Fleming executive chair Giuseppe Ciucci, who has been acting CEO since 2023. Ciucci will stay on as executive chair of the group.
