Sulzer appoints Credit Suisse for Medica merger

Sulzer, the Swiss conglomerate, has appointed Credit Suisse First Boston to advise on the reintegration of medical business Sulzer Medica.

After appointing Morgan Stanley Dean Witter in 1997 to advise it on the sale of 24% of Sulzer Medica to investors, Sulzer has now appointed different advisers to help merge the two companies. When the stake in Sulzer Medica was sold, the company listed on the Zurich and New York stock exchanges.
