Sun Holdings, a high-frequency trading firm led by former MF Global chief executive Bernie Dan, has reshuffled the management of its European arm in anticipation of a greater regulatory focus on high-speed trading in the region.
Asad Samar has been appointed as managing director of Sun Trading International, the group's London-based operation, Financial News has learned. He replaces David DeArmey, Sun's chief operating officer, who also acted as managing director of the International business. He will remain as group COO, based in the US.
