SunGard, the technology company, wants to win more business from the alternative investment sector by launching an accounting and risk-management platform for hedge funds.

The application has been developed following the integration of Sungard's InvesTier and Invest One systems. InvesTier is an investor accounting, general ledger, allocation and reporting solution for onshore and offshore hedge funds, funds-of-funds and other managed investments.
