Scottish Widows Investment Partnership has added to its global rates team by hiring Alan Bridges as investment director for UK rates. He will manage all aspects of gilt and index linked bond funds, including developing the investment process. He previously worked at UBS Global Asset Management as a senior portfolio manager and has 27 years' experience in global fixed income.
