Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (Swip), the asset management arm of UK bank Lloyds TSB, has lost Pia Nyholm, a credit analyst, to State Street Global Advisors - the latest of several departures in the past few months.

Last month, Ian Cormack, senior fund manager at Swip, left to join investment boutique Edinburgh Partners which was started by his former colleagues.
