Swiss central bank wants more crisis planning at Credit Suisse and UBS

Switzerland's biggest banks, Credit Suisse and UBS, need to make more progress in proving they can still run vital functions in the event of bankruptcy under new rules aimed at avoiding future bank collapses, according to the country's central bank.

In its 2017 Financial Stability Report, published today, the Swiss National Bank said that the banks "still need to achieve compliance with the requirements" of the Swiss emergency plans.
