The post-trade division of Swiss exchange operator SIX Group has partnered with the startup run by former JP Morgan commodities chief Blythe Masters to test how blockchain technology can be used in the country's financial markets.
SIX Securities Services and Digital Asset will work on a prototype for clearing and settling securities trades using distributed ledger technology, the companies said on September 22.
