Symphony continues acquisition spree with purchase of startup StreetLinx

It is the second acquisition under Symphony's new chief executive Brad Levy

Symphony, the $1.4bn communications provider for banks, agreed to buy market infrastructure tool StreetLinx as part of an acquisition spree under new chief executive Brad Levy.

The deal will enable the company to add around 200 institutional counterparties to the roughly 1,000 firms currently using Symphony, the company said in a statement seen by Financial News. The financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
