Synapse snaps up second partner in a month from BarCap

Synapse Investment Management, the boutique fund manager set up at the start of the year by two former Barclays Capital bankers, has hired another senior executive from the UK bank less than a month after recruiting its former head of credit research.

Synapse, which was founded by Graeme Anderson and Mark Holman, has recruited Rob Ford, previously a managing director and head of European asset-backed securities trading at Barclays Capital, as a partner in its portfolio management team.
