Teather & Greenwood, the UK broking firm, has hired George Adams, a specialist in equities, currencies and government bond broking, as head of its derivatives business in London.

Adams, who is 29, has extensive broking experience and has covered several financial sectors including equities, UK, French and German government bonds, Euribor (the European interbank offered rate) and the FTSE 100 index.
