T Rowe Price, the US investment firm with $330bn (€251bn) of institutional assets under management, is opening its first office in Canada and bringing in a new director to run it.

Wendy Brodkin has begun establishing the firm's operations for its new office in Toronto. The firm plans to add three to four people to the office as the business expands in coming months.
