T Rowe Price Global Investment Services is offering its range of Société d'Investissement à Capital Variable (Sicav) funds to German investors for the first time, as part of its wider expansion strategy into Europe.
The family of funds consists of five equity funds investing in blue chips, small caps, US large caps, global emerging markets and environmental issues, respectively. It is also offering three bond funds that are aggregate, high-yield, and corporate bonds. In October, the firm gained distribution approval to launch the funds in Norway, in a bid to bring the no-load fund concept, in which funds carry no initial fees, to Europe.
