Todd Ruppert, a former 27-year veteran of $850bn asset manager T Rowe Price and longstanding investor in financial technology, has joined a US merchant bank specialising in the sector to plot its international growth strategy.

SenaHill Partners, which was set up by former Goldman Sachs trading technology veteran Neil DeSena, said in a statement today that Ruppert is joining as managing director of international to "help drive global expansion".
