UK consulting firms are becoming casualties of a talent drain as senior staff are joining fund managers leaving for the hedge fund industry.

Watson Wyatt Worldwide, the investment and benefits consultant, has been hit by the resignation of Stephen Oxley, its UK top hedge fund consultant.
