TBC Bank shifts IPO to London

The Georgian bank has shifted its allegiance from Warsaw to London, prior to a 2014 IPO

TBC Bank, Georgia's second-largest bank, whose stakeholders include JP Morgan and Ashmore Asset Management, is eyeing a London flotation after previously indicating a preference for Warsaw.

Giorgi Shagidze, chief financial officer, said the firm is looking at a listing on the London Stock Exchange in 2014. It is still considering the structure of the listing, with possible options ranging from global depository receipts to a premium listing.
