UK stockbroker Teather & Greenwood, a smaller and mid-cap specialist, has interim results shown a first half profit rise of 85% compared to the first half of 1999, according to its interim results.
Turnover rose 98% and profits before tax increased by 81%, from £2m (€3.3m) to £3.7m (€6.1m). Sales almost doubled, with turnover jumping from £9.2m to £18.2m.
