Poor earnings cast yet more gloom on the corporate bond market

Poor earnings from the big telecoms equipment manufacturers is set to cast more gloom on the downtrodden corporate bond market.

Nokia, the world's largest mobile phone maker, fuelled the already downcast mood in the industry last week by reporting first-quarter sales down 12% and pre-tax profits down 11%.
