TeliaSonera pulls out of bidding for Estonian operator

TeliaSonera, the Nordic region's biggest telecoms operator, has backed out of bidding for Eesti Telekom, Estonia's top telecoms operator, after its first offer was rebuffed.

TeliaSonera, advised by Alfred Berg, the Nordic arm of ABN Amro, made an offer to take full control of Eesti Telekom.
