Morgan Stanley has won an auction to sell Skr9.95bn (€1.1bn) worth of shares in TeliaSonera, the Swedish telecoms company, taking the bank to the top of the European equity rankings ahead of arch-rival Goldman Sachs.
Before this deal, Goldman Sachs was top of the league table for European equity offerings, according to Dealogic, the investment banking research firm. Goldman had €11.8bn of league table credit with Morgan Stanley just behind at €11.7bn.
