Singapore state investment company Temasek Holdings will consider increasing its stake in Barclays, if the British bank asks for funds, two people familiar with the situation said Monday.
The Sunday Times reported over the weekend that Barclays is close to raising £4bn (â¬5bn) from sovereign wealth funds.
