Profits at Temenos, the Swiss-based financial software firm, have plummeted while its revenues rose by nearly 50% in 2001.

In spite of the dramatic drop in year-on-year operating profits in the fourth quarter, from $4.8m (€5.4m) to only $29,000, overall revenue for the year grew 48%.
