Ten managers share $6bn Calpers mandate

Stock lending profits rise to $98m at US fund

The $162bn (€134bn) California Public Employees' Retirement System, the world's largest pension fund, has appointed 10 managers to run a $6bn US enhanced index strategy.

The move represents a significant increase in Calpers' enhanced indexing investment. It has had only $800m invested in enhanced indexing until now.
