Terna boosts Italian new issues with €2.6bn IPO

Enel, the utility company, has confirmed that it going to float 50% of Terna, its electricity transmission network, in the first multi-billion euro initial public offering (IPO) in the Italian market for two years.

Goldman Sachs is leading the IPO with Mediobanca in the US bank's first Italian flotation since July 2000, according to Dealogic, the investment banking research firm.
